The line where it gets kind of weird — where brand advocacy becomes cultish fanaticism.
Another observation about “tuning in” — really hard to do when you’re the only one talking.
When my daughters do something that makes me laugh I have the hardest time keeping a straight face if it calls for some sort of correction or discipline. Often, much to the chagrin of my patient wife, I will lose it and giggle or howl with laughter with the kids…anywhere (church, movie theatre, restaurant, etc.).

The day the political creep permeates your culture is the day you should hang it up. Maybe run for office.
Our common cause is to serve our communities as best we can — we’re essentially “in the car” together.
Strategic plans should scare us a little while at the same time provide us common focus.
